Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believer’s an example, In Speech, In, Conduct, In Love, In Faith, In Purity – 1 Timothy 4:12
Dear beloved in Christ, as church youths, we are parts in the body of Christ. It’s amazing to see how clear the sky and the air is after a storm. The sun shines so bright. The air smells so fresh. That’s how our God is like. As we go through the storms in our lives — God’s amazing love carries us to a fresh new day, a new beginning.
We shall live by faith, not by sight. No longer we live a life by flesh. But we live by God’s spirit. Our Lord washed away our sins on the cross by His most precious blood.
Once we anchor in Christ, our life will be held strong and molded by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The son came down to earth and lived as a role model to all of us by encountering various struggles and overcoming temptations. The are plethora of challenges to live like Jesus viz temptations, unfruitful thoughts, hurting words, pride, gossip, lie, fear, hatred, dishonesty and the list goes on. But God has given us the power to overcome all these by clinging onto God’s word, by having a constant walk with him through communication and the most important of all is faith. We are called to Earth to fulfill what God has kept for us as a goal.
The power of resurrection cleanses our hearts and souls. Don’t forget that our name has been recorded in heaven.
We see clearer, we feel the warmth of his love like the sun’s ray on our face. So trust and obey, it’s the only way…. God’s Love is Amazing.
We as Christian youths, The Lord has given us certain responsibilities such as
- Son ship / relationship- under girded in LOVE (glorify the father in Heaven)
- Worship – under girded in REVERENCE
- Disciple ship / steward ship – under girded in ACCOUNTABILITY.
As per His words…..
Ecclesiastes 11:9
“Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth. Walk in the ways of your heart and the sight of your eyes. But know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11
“So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you’ll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind. I know you’re already doing this; just keep on doing it.”
Be fruitful and multiply, staging happily in the world by taking love, reverence and accountability.
In every other system of the world life precedes love, but only in Christianity LOVE precedes life, God created us to live in his love.
At the end, A genuine credit from the Lord which we all long to hear would be these following words, “Well done my good and faithful servant’ so let’s run our race faithfully just as apostle Paul had.
~And I know He must have heard~
“I felt the answer in my heart, although He spoke not a word
I didn’t ask for wealth or fame
I asked Him to send treasures of a far more lasting kind
I asked that He be near you at the start of each new day
To grant you health and blessings and friends to share your way
I asked happiness for you in all things great and small
But it was for His loving care I prayed most of all”
